The Caudan Waterfront craft market consists of 36 stalls set up on a two-storey open bazaar with tropical colors, in a unique atmosphere infused with exotic scents.
The ceiling and columns recreate the turquoise reflections of the Mauritian lagoons and the deep green shades of the island’s lush vegetation.
Passing by the stalls, one finds colorful beach pareo, embroidered fabrics, spices, recycled and glazed objects, semi-precious stones, wooden sculptures, paintings, souvenirs in coconut, wood or glass, as well as a range of regional crafts, traditions and cultures from Mauritius, Rodrigues and Madagascar.
